Bacteriological characterization of dehydrated sludge from the wastewater treatment plant of the city of Kenitra and their impact on the environment
摘要
The wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) of the city of Kenitra treats urban wastewater, this treatment produces significant quantities of dehydrated sludge which are then placed in the public landfill. The valorization of the dehydrated sludge of the WWTP-Kenitra has become a priority, given the enormous quantities produced from their complex and heterogeneous composition. The objective of this study is to characterize by bacteriological analysis the dehydrated sludge of the wastewater treatment plant of the city of Kenitra (Morocco) for agricultural use and their impact on the environment. Samples of dewatered sludge were taken for bacteriological analysis. For the bacteriological parameters of dewatered sludge, the bacteria studied are: Aerobic microorganisms, Intestinal Enterococci, Escherichia-coli, Coliform Bacteria. The results show that these bacteria are present with remarkable quantities.
