Recovering Knowledge: Discourses and Knowledge Structures
摘要
This chapter engages with Bernstein’s late career conceptualizations of discourses (vertical and horizontal) and knowledge structures (hierarchical and horizontal) and the possibilities that they present for the continued development of his theorizing. A selection of empirical studies that have applied these concepts is reviewed.
