Batch Service Polling System: Mathematical Analysis and Simulation Modeling
摘要
In this paper, we study the mathematical and simulation models of the polling system with cyclic polling order and batch service. The service discipline is considered to be either exhaustive or gated. We study mathematical analysis of system with limited queue capacities and exhaustive discipline to measure the performance parameters. We discuss the numerical simulation results of systems with different batch size scenarios to examine the correlation between the system characteristics and the batch sizes of the queues.
