The Maturity of Hydrocarbon Fluids in the PS Reservoirs and Deep-Stratigraphic Confining of Their Formation Sources
摘要
The study oforganic matter and oil on a level of molecular fossils (biomarkers) made it possible to carry out “oil-oil” and “oil-source rocks”correlation and to determine the stratigraphic age of oils and their maturity degree that exactly means a level of catagenetictransformation of kerogen to oils. The parameters as isomerization degrees of terpanes, steranes, their aromatization degrees, aromatic steranes, and steroids relation have been used. The calculated depth of the oil source corresponds to 6.1-8.6 km (gassource—from 8.1 to 15.8 km). Because of the isotopic composition of the mud volcanoes products (rocks-ejects, gas, oil, water), it is shown that the position of petroleum charges of mud volcanoes and fields in the section corresponds to thegenerally accepted vertical zoning of oil-and-gas generation and has a single genetic source. The increase of rocks thickness isobserved from onshore towards the central deep part of the SCB and the maturity of oil and gas. The isotopically heavy ICC ofCO2 in gases is probably the microbial destruction of hydrocarbons at shallow depths (no deeper than 2 km).
