Natural and Artificial Intelligence: An Activity-Based Approach

The generalized composition and structure of rational activity is considered. The model of thought processes is presented in the form of interacting functional blocks of information structures processing and storage. In the context of the activity approach, the basic concepts of natural and artificial intelligence are considered. The necessity to consider intelligence in symbiosis with knowledge and activity is substantiated. The characteristic properties of the essence of “knowledge” are determined: systematization, objectivity and qualification, distribution, granularity. From the point of view of the structural-functional approach, the concepts of weak, strong, and general intelligence are defined.
