Ethics of Artificial Intelligence: Which Strategies and Social Policy Actions for Current and Future Challenges?

Artificial intelligence (AI) offers innovative solutions to the global issues. However, these innovative tools bring new challenges and risks. This chapter deals with the ethics of AI and social policy. Three points are discussed in this chapter: first, AI opportunities and challenges related to social policy; second, the importance of ethics in AI; and third, the new strategies and policy actions needed to ensure social development. As concluded in this paper, rethinking of public policies is important to follow AI evolution.
