Psychological Warfare at the Age of Artificial Intelligence: The Case of Venezuela

The scope and structure of this chapter are intended to help understand how the USA uses social media and artificial intelligence as a new tool in the psychological operations in Latin America especially focusing on the Venezuela case. The chapter highlight that the USA uses such new innovative tools like artificial intelligence alongside the traditional political, economic, and other “weapons”. In a conclusion, some prospect scenarios of AI-driven psychological warfare against Venezuela and other countries of the region for the future will be suggested.
