Solvent Extraction of Fe3+ with 2-Octanol from Wastewater After Gallium Recovery
摘要
The process of galliumGallium extraction from fly ash produces a large amount of acidic wastewater. The presence of Fe3+ andFe heavy metal ions in the wastewater after galliumGallium recoveryRecovery makes it impossible to return to the fly ash leaching process for recyclingRecycling. In this study, 2-Octanol2-Octanol diluted with sulphonated kerosene was used to extract Fe3+ fromFe the acidic wastewater. In a six-stage counter-current with the conditions of O/A = 2/1, 25 °C, 5 min, 4.5 mol/L of HCl, the extraction of Fe3+ can reach more than 99%. Over 99.9% of Fe3+ could be stripped in a six-stage counter-current batch simulation test using 0.1 mol/L HCl. The mechanism ofFe Fe3+ extraction using 2-Octanol2-Octanol was discussed according to FT-IR spectra results.
