Assessing the Factors Influencing the Adoption of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in the Manufacturing Sector
摘要
The initial implementation and subsequent adoption of novel technologies are contingent upon numerous factors. It is imperative for organizations to closely evaluate these aspects. This paper aims to develop a research model utilizing the diffusion of innovation (DOI) theory, technology-organization-environment (TOE) framework and innovation resistance theory (IRT) to ascertain the key factors influencing the initial acceptance and continued adoption of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) within the manufacturing sector. The present study will utilize structural equation modelling to investigate the hypotheses, employing a quantitative survey methodology.
