The Ethics of Fox and Hedgehog to Endorse Technologies for Innovative Heritage

This chapter reports studies, research and experiments aimed at constructing a framework for setting out an innovative relationship between architectural heritage, history and innovation, in which it is possible to understand the evolution of smart design and management-oriented technologies by focusing on the complex interdisciplinary contributions needed to achieve a renewed perspective, between material and immaterial cultural tradition, adaptation to change and the dissemination of new tools. Fundamental to the energy, ecological and digital transition is understanding the functions performed by the intellectual and professional skills of architects involved in the process, defining an ethical and balanced approach to design and outlining the multiplicity of possible approaches to contemporary challenges.
