Neuroradiological Imaging for Traumatic Brain Injury
摘要
Radiological imaging of the patient with traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a critical component of saving lives and directing clinical care. The initial evaluation of the trauma patient includes the rapid detection of intracranial mass lesions requiring neurosurgical intervention as well as assessment of the need for invasive neuromonitoring. Neuroimaging for TBI also provides key insights to parse out the heterogeneous manifestations of the injury and the overall burden of injury.
