Classical Flutter, State-Space Model, and Root Locus

This chapter discusses the physics of classical flutter and then shows how to practically determine the conditions that lead to instability. The root locus procedure is also presented. Additional methods to find the flutter speed (such as the \(p-k\) and g methods) will be covered in Chap. 36 .
