The Biot-Savart Law for Incompressible Fluids

The aerodynamic modeling of wings conducted with the superposition of vortices requires the calculations of velocities at any given location. This is achieved with the Biot-Savart law, which is derived in this chapter under the assumption of inviscid and incompressible flow.
