The company is also involved in the production of copper, silver, lead, and zinc. Newmont Corporation was incorporated in the year 1920 and completed its 100th year in 2021. Newmont is among the top 10% of S&P 500 large cap dividend payers. The company is the only gold producer listed in the S&P 500 Index. Newmont has the largest market share of approximately 6% of the estimated total worldwide mined gold production.
