摘要

There are relatively few training centers with scale ships. However, the use of scale ships is increasing, since it is possible to improve maneuverability and reaction techniques and experiences that can be pushed to the limits in terms of safety, for variable load and environmental conditions. The present work aims to formulate a general methodology for dimensioning real ships at different scales, including stability and maneuverability analysis, as well as the different systems such as: structure, propulsion, and anchoring. It is based on a combination of approaches with the application of dimensional analysis in those parameters that intervene in the behavior, restriction, and capacity of a vessel such as: geometric, kinematic, and dynamic similarity; combined with computational simulation that allows us to study different scenarios and physical phenomena to carry out a design configuration. In this way, it is possible to generate a methodology and a computational algorithm with the future goal of including the optimization of the designs of this type of vessels.
