The Course of the South Eastern Pacific, Development and Opportunities
摘要
The South Eastern Pacific, characterized by the dismemberment of fjords and glaciers and its particular climate as a result of the continuity towards the Antarctic Continent, presents unbeatable binding opportunities for the development of mills and benefits that today the Center for Ibero-American Studies “OceanPro” transfers from the last frontier of the planet to all the participants in this IV Ibero-American Congress of Naval Engineering. Enchanting the tourism industry with experiences and adventures of navigating sub-Antarctic fjords and glaciers not explored by humans, is an opportunity to convene the industry of cruise ships, expeditions and scientists, to spread these natural, pure beauties and unique pristine islands on the planet and establish logistics bases for their support, marine terminals, along with the development of tourism ships for exploration in fjords, glaciers, and the shipbuilding of ships with polar characteristics. Along with the above and linked to these territories bathed by the Strait of Magellan, where the wind does not rest, pilot projects for the generation of Green Hydrogen are envisioned in the initial stages, qualified as the energy of the future thanks to its tremendous potential in wind energy. and the quality of its waters, exhibiting opportunities to participate in the development and construction of said power plants, port terminals, transition to hydrogen liquefaction, construction of transport ships for this liquid cargo and the safety of navigation for the safe transfer of Hydrogen Liquefied Green.
