Review: Offshore Wind Farms, Their Maritime Installation
摘要
There is a growing interest in the use of hydrogen as a revolutionary element in energy production based on its characteristic as a vector, defined by its storage capacity and subsequent release of energy in a controlled manner, but above all pointing to the reduction in CO2 emissions. Its massive production from the hydrolysis process carried out with electrical energy obtained in marine facilities requires the installation of large wind farms and other facilities to obtain and process this Green Hydrogen. This work gathers international experience in regarding the effective installation of an offshore wind farm with special emphasis on the requirements of specialized vessels and those that are used in standardized tasks and the perspectives of the local industry.
