Supervisory Control of Multiple Product Flow for a Flexible Manufacturing System
摘要
A general parametric modeling and control framework of multi-product manufacturing systems is proposed. The manufacturing system is of a general and parametric form covering a wide range of manufacturing architectures. The system consists of a parametric number of manufacturing machines, a parametric number of product transfer systems, a parametric number of buffers, and a parametric set of input and output product stacks. The model of each machine and transfer system is provided in the form of DES. Behavioral rules are translated to regular languages. For each language, a two-state supervisor automaton will be designed.
