The Large Hadron Collider Beauty Experiment

This chapter describes fully the experimental apparatus of the Large Hadron ColliderBeauty (LHCb) Experiment which was used to conduct the measurements discussed. A brief outlookon the upgrade of the detector is also given, relevant for the following chapter.
