This chapter reiterates the main arguments of the book and provides a summary of its account of gardening in correctional facilities. Our work sits at the intersection of incarceration, food insecurity, and gender. The concluding remarks of this book highlight the case studies that demonstrate how incarceration, food insecurity, and gender connect to one another while highlighting the importance of clinical sociological approaches to problem-solving including food insecurity among incarcerated women.
