Variations in Rainfall in India: Is It Evidence of Climate Change?
摘要
Central India has shown considerable deficit in rainfall in recent decades while some coastal areas and northwest India are getting wetter. The share of summer monsoonal rainfall is declining while that of post-monsoon and pre-monsoon seasons is increasing. Although at all-India level there is no trend in annual and summer monsoon rainfalls, a number of subdivisions show positive or negative trends in both the annual and summer monsoon rainfalls.
