Towards Blockchain Driven Solution for Remote Healthcare Service: An Analytical Study

Blockchain technology has great potential to revolutionalize the healthcare domain. It can enhance telehealthcare functionalities by facilitating remote medical service in a decentralized and reliable manner. This study addresses the role of Blockchain in remote healthcare. Different consensus algorithms of Blockchain are briefed. Different existing working models concerning Blockchain in healthcare are highlighted. A novel blockchain-based framework for tackling the issues of data security, privacy, and interoperability in remote healthcare is presented in the study. The benefits of the blockchain model and its future challenging issues are also discussed further.
