摘要

The environment is the most often discussed subject in international forums due to the grave threat it confronts. One of the biggest issues affecting the environment and the balance of nature, after global warming, is waste management. Better waste management solutions are being developed by both governmental and non-governmental organisations. Although being a component of waste management in modern technologies, it is not a fundamental component in many nations. Only through automating garbage collection and transportation does current technology help to reduce manual involvement. It also aids in the recycling and reuse of usable trash by turning it into raw materials and the disposal of non-useful garbage. Any technology-based solution will have a very difficult time succeeding without human engagement since people make up the majority of the waste management cycle. If people are given incentives for effective waste sorting, reuse, recycling, disposal, and even raising awareness, their engagement in waste management will rise. The assisting technology should automatically track the waste management cycle, note significant events, and take appropriate action. In order to overcome the difficulties presented by the waste management business, Cryptographic ledger technology with smart contracts, AI, and native cryptocurrency is being sought for. With a distributed ledger technology that is cryptographically secure, Cryptographic ledger offers immutability as well as real-time incentive systems and settlements using native cryptocurrencies. We have examined the Cryptographic ledger-based waste management solutions now available in this study, as well as their efficacy in resolving the issues the sector is currently facing.
