The Relevance of Green Technology and New-Energy Vehicle Sales Towards Sustainable Economic Development

In recent years, with the continuous improvement of environmental protection awareness, the green economy and low-carbon economy have become the focus of people's attention as representatives of green industries, new energy vehicles, and renewable energy power generation are playing a more critical role in the rapid development of China. Therefore, in this context, the analysis method based on the OLS model in this paper aims to explore whether there is a correlation between the sales volume of new energy vehicles and the power generation of renewable energy in China, as well as the impact on the sustainable development of green economy and low-carbon economy. This paper focuses on the significant correlation between renewable energy generation (green energy utilization including renewable energy generation, solar energy, wind energy, and other green energy) and new-energy vehicle sales in China under the green economy. A range of research techniques will be employed in this study, including case studies, literature reviews, and empirical data analysis. Examining current theoretical frameworks and combining empirical data will show how economic growth affects green technologies and related industrial developments. The study aims to provide essential insights for policymakers, other stakeholders to develop strategies and policies to harness the potential of green technologies and related industrial development to achieve sustainable economic development.
