Lips/Chin

The lips have prominent aesthetic and social connotations, and surgical procedures could distort their appearance and impair function. The relevant anatomy and the orientation of the RSTLs are highlighted, and their relevance in the reconstruction of defects in the different subunits is described. The most appropriate reconstructive options for defects of various sizes, shapes and depth in the different subunits of lips are described in detail with the help of excellent step-by-step colour diagrams and photographs of clinical cases. Stem cell rejuvenation with nanofat injections is also discussed. A helpful algorithm of reconstructive options is included at the end of the chapter.
