Robotic-Assisted Retroperitoneal Lymph Node Dissection
摘要
Testicular cancer is the most common solid organ malignancy in men aged 20–34. Retroperitoneal pelvic lymph node dissection (RPLND) is a standard of care treatment option for patients with stage I, IIA, and IIB non-seminomatous germ cell tumor (NSGCT). Open surgical techniques have long been the gold standard approach to RPLND, and among the surgical milestones achieved in the preceding decades, minimally invasive techniques have gained traction as an attractive option in the treatment of genitourinary malignancies. We herein describe the surgical technique of the robotic-assisted RPLND.
