Different approaches exist for the bladder neck (BN) dissection during robotic radical prostatectomy (RARP). For RARP it is essential to know the detailed anatomy of the bladder neck as well as the techniques of the bladder neck dissection such as bladder neck sparing, bladder neck reconstruction and their use depending on the overall RARP approach, i.e. transperitoneal or Retzius-sparing.
