Noise Reduction of Mine Acoustic Emission and Electromagnetic Radiation Signals Using VMD-PE
摘要
The complex conditions of underground coal mine, Acoustic Emission (AE) and Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR) signals collected contain a lot of interference and noise, which is not conducive to follow-up monitoring and early warning of coal and rock dynamic disasters. We propose a denoising method of AE and EMR combined with Variational Mode Decomposition (VMD) and Permutation Entropy (PE). Firstly, the signals collected from underground coal mine are decomposed into modal components of different frequencies using VMD. Secondly, the entropy value of each modal component is calculated and arranged, and the threshold value is set to remove the modes corresponding to high entropy. Finally, the remaining modes are reconstructed to output the denoised signal. The processing results of the AE and EMR actual monitoring signals Shiping No. 1 Coal Mine also illustrated its good denoising ability to signals with different characteristics.
