摘要

In recent years, satellite communication has been praised as the key enabler to achieve the goal of ubiquitous access of next-generation communication. This paper focuses on the uplink resource allocation for differentiated quality of service (QoS) requirements in DVB-RCS2 Satellite Systems, in which the multiple return channel satellite terminals (RCSTs) provide different users with differentiated QoS. We consider the RCSTs support three types of service such as voice, http and e-mail which have different data rate demand and priority. An optimizing problem to maximize the sum throughout is proposed, then a Greedy Search Algorithm (GSA) is proposed to solve the problem. In order not to degrade the service QoS, the users are regrouped to execute a Dynamic Carrier Reallocation (DCR) algorithm. Simulation results show the GSA provides different services with a higher proportion of requests being serviced. Compared with the simple fixed division allocation scheme, the dynamic resource allocation scheme improves the performance of the system.
