Productivity Index Applied to Clinical Engineering

In the present work, a productivity index (IP) was developed based on: the number of concluded service orders (SO), number of worked hours, and complexity of completed SO. This indicator can be used to help measure the productivity of teams and individual workers. IP was used to evaluate the productivity of a clinical engineering (CE) nucleus of the GETS-CEB-UNICAMP network from 01/01/2018 to 31/12/2019. It was observed that although the CE team presented good productivity, alerts were raised concerning the low productivity of some individuals who require additional attention of the CE manager.
