Development of a Mechanical Prototype of Myoelectric Prosthesis for Upper Limbs
摘要
The use of prostheses in the population has been increasing in the world over the centuries. However, its use in practice still faces many challenges, such as unsatisfactory functionality, high cost and aesthetics. Considering these aspects, the project proposes the development of a mechanical prototype of a prosthesis for the replacement of an amputated upper limb, made from 3D printing, controlled by a myoelectric signal that performs the opening/closing movements of the hand and rotation of the wrist, with signal acquisition developed by partners. The ultimate goal is to obtain a prosthesis on which an amputee can operate and be able to manipulate a bottle.
