摘要

The electrocardiogram (ECG) is a common test to analyze the bioelectrical potentials generated by the heart muscle, another way is the vectorcardiogram (VCG) which provides a three-dimensional representation of this phenomena. The VCG can be obtained from an ECG through transformation matrices, such as the inverse Dower (iDower) and the Kors. This article has compared the rotations obtained between these two mentioned methods in a group of 22 patients (11 men and 11 women). Analyzing the data obtained, in general, a remarkable number of divergences was observed, around 12%, which may be related to the construction of the matrices. A large number of divergences were observed in the sagittal plane and the smallest divergence occurred in the horizontal plane, which may be associated to the data acquired of ECG leads data, mainly in relation to V1 to V6 (frontal plane), that are correlated to the transformation from ECG to VCG. It can also be noted that there were no differences between the analyzed genders.
