摘要

The method of radio-frequency ablation is a widely accepted alternative to treat hepatic cancerous tumors. It is a minimal invasive technique that is capable of eradicating tumor cells and provides excellent recover for the subject. By constructing a theoretical model for radio-frequency ablation process with an internally cooled needle-like electrodes we can study the propagation of heat across the length of the tissue. Also allowing to visualize the evolution of the system and its behavior over time. In this paper we will approach the Cattaneo-Vernotte bioheat model. Unlike the gold standard Pennes Bioheat equation, the Cattaneo-Vernotte equation takes into account the effects of thermal relaxation on human tissues. Our goal is to deduce the analytical solution for the cylindrical coordinate Cattaneo-Vernotte bioheat equation on a unlimited domain. The obtained solution can be used to study and understand the heat transfer on the hepatic human tissue.
