Final Reflections

This chapter summarises the main findings and observations of this book and what they reveal about tourism translation. It also highlights the most important contribution of the book, which is to provide insight into the importance of adapting tourism texts during translation and the potential reasons why this might not be happening. Finally, the chapter explores ideas for future research and particularly how the main findings can be taken forward to transform the way we understand and perform tourism translation.
