Why Me?
摘要
The champions often asked why me when trying to make sense of what was happening to them. In this chapter, they describe personality characteristics that were clearly not appreciated by the bullies. The champions tended to be assertive and outspoken, hardworking, successful, and well respected by peers. Rather than valuing these characteristics, bullies appeared threatened by them. Some champions believed they were being punished for saying or doing something the bully did not welcome or reporting their concerns, and others felt they were simply not liked or not considered part of the gang.
