Graduated Validity: Cronbach Alpha Calculations for Graduate Student Workplace Bullying Instrument (2017)

Through my workplace bullying research, I noticed that employees receive a great deal of research attention, however at the time of the study, little work had been done on graduate students and entry-level faculty. To address conflict and bullying that new research investigators may experience, I created an original instrument to ask how the newer researchers in academia cope with bullying since they are in one of the most vulnerable positions in higher education. The Cronbach Alpha process is presented step-by-step. The chapter continues with the data collection process and the findings; then the actual instrument is presented. The chapter concludes with the peer-reviewed papers and conferences that resulted from the study.
