COVID-Free Interaction with Public Displays
摘要
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a need to reassess and adapt interaction modalities to prioritize hygiene and safety. Contactless interaction has emerged as a potentially effective approach for applications on publicly available interactive systems. This paper introduces an interactive system designed for contactless interaction with publicly accessible information displays. The system was implemented and deployed in a busy bank branch in Greece, catering to a high volume of users. Its goal is to provide a safe and hygienic way for users to engage with interactive information displays. By enabling contactless interaction, the system addresses the concerns and precautions associated with the pandemic, while maintaining a high level of accessibility and user engagement.
