Navigating Through the Software

This chapter introduces the clinician to the latest cloud-based software used by Invisalign®; ClinCheck Pro® 6.0. This is the latest version of the software by Align Technology and has several improvements and added features in comparison to the previous versions. It also allows the clinician to directly manipulate the position of the teeth digitally by using the controls shown later on in this chapter, whilst allowing direct sharing with the patients for an easier visualisation of the projected outcome. This improvement eliminates an additional step needed for the manufacturer’s technicians to adjust the simulation based on the clinicians’ input and expedites the aligner delivery process further. This chapter will also explain the various stages needed to navigate through the software and the key processes needed to complete the successful submission of a case.
