Aligner Treatment Process

Any dental treatment starts with the treating clinician evaluating the patient and obtaining the necessary records to monitor the progress of treatment throughout the whole duration of the treatment. This aspect of treatment is standard and would not vary between conventional or fully digitised workflows. The records are not only essential for a baseline assessment at the start of treatment but are also essential for diagnostics, data acquisition, transfer onto the relevant digital software platform, planning and formulation of a digital outcome for the patient to visualise the end result before embarking on the journey. The final stage of the treatment involves provision of retention.
