3D Software Planning Considerations for Crown-Root Movements
摘要
Crown-root movements remain a challenging aspect of orthodontics with any type of orthodontic aligners. Enhanced technology producing 3D images with the possibility of superimposing intraoral scans and 3D radiological images has rendered this complex movement more realistic. This chapter provides further in-depth information with regard to the possibility of obtaining these types of movements, management strategies and potential future advancements in this technique to streamline the outcomes with the predictions. The benefit of using power ridges, attachments and divots specifically for this type of movement will also be explained.
