Element 6: Evaluation and Feedback—Using Online Evaluation to Build Student Self-Efficacy

Utilizing meaningful and contextual assessments and constructive feedback to promote student achievement. I believe that assessment and feedback are even more important in an online class, as they allow us to personally interact with our online students. There are tools for assessing student progress, access, and engagement in online learning that can give us a much more detailed snapshot of our students compared with face-to-face teaching. This element outlines how to make use of these digital assessment and feedback tools to identify, support, and develop the learning skills of our students.
