Simulating the Impacts of Productive Development Policies in Algeria: Computable General Equilibrium Model Analysis
摘要
In this chapter, we have tried to develop and design a computable general equilibrium model (CGEM) for the Algerian economy with the aim of simulating the impacts of productive development policies in the face of alternative scenarios. The model serves as a powerful analysis tool to evaluate the impacts of economic policies (change in taxes, subsidies, etc.) and autonomous shocks (changes in international prices, changes in technology via increases in productivity and/or quality, etc.).
