Complications in Intracranial and Extracranial Surgery of Craniosynostosis

A general overview of published complication statistics is given. Then the significant complications as bleeding, impairment of vision, infection and complications adherent to osteosynthesis are discussed giving published data and the author’s experience. Clinical examples are shown. Finally, there is a display of outcomes and postoperative newly developed or ongoing problems with increased intracranial pressure, neurological findings and pathologies.
