摘要

Cyclin-dependent kinase 4/6 (CDK4/6) inhibitors in combination with endocrine-therapy have emerged as an important regimen of care for estrogen receptor (ER)-positive metastatic breast cancer (BC), although identifying predictive biomarkers remains a challenge. Positron emission tomography (PET) proliferation tracers have made significant advancements when it comes to evaluation of efficacy of CDK4/6 inhibitor therapy. Topic review presented in this paper includes the following databases: PubMed, Google Scholar, and ScienceDirect. The exclusion criteria covered articles older than three years, as well as cancers other than HR-positive HER2-negative breast cancer, therapy other than CDK4/6 inhibitors as monotherapy in combination with ER inhibitor, and imaging other than PET and PET/CT. Consequently, the search was narrowed to XX articles. The aim is to provide a comprehensive screening of PET scan applications for evaluation of efficacy of CDK4/3 inhibitor therapy for metastatic HR-positive HER2-negative breast cancer.
