Additive Manufacturing as a Key Driver in the Mobility of Tomorrow

Mobility is in a state of change. Ever higher performance is demanded, while at the same time being environmentally friendly and conserving resources. The transition to electromobility is in full swing and, with all its challenges, offers opportunities for efficient drive concepts in conjunction with innovative manufacturing processes such as additive manufacturing. By combining additive manufacturing with the challenges of tomorrow's mobility, such as electromobility, more efficient and higher performance vehicle components can be developed through adapted quantities and small series. The possibility of application-specific components can be realized more easily and in a more targeted manner, and at the same time the principle of identical parts can be realized through integration in modular systems.
