Development of Site Calibration Set for Prefixed Wall Transmitters of Environmental Monitoring Systems in Regulated Industries

Temperature and humidity are one of the main factors affecting the quality of products no matter what the industry is. Therefore, environmental monitoring systems (EMS) are always installed in labs, manufacturing areas, and warehouses to keep track of the temperature and humidity and help the process owner evaluate the efficiency of the control functions it applies. One of the main components of an EMS is a wall-mounted sensor which must be regularly calibrated; unfortunately, the currently used calibration method has several disadvantages including large uncertainty. Throughout this study, a new device is developed to eliminate all the disadvantages of the current calibration method and calibrate any type of odd-shaped wall-mounted sensor.
