Book Review: Viktor E. Frankl’s Logotherapy and Existential Analysis: Theory and Practice by Maria Marshall and Edward Marshall
摘要
As I began this review, I wondered how a new logotherapy textbook could surpass the existing literature for trained and experienced logotherapists. The authors, Maria and Edward Marshall, had already published a comprehensive book on logotherapy 10 years ago. My questions were quickly put to rest: This book provides new and interesting perspectives on logotherapy, with structured and concise explanations of the theory. It includes some thoughts on the Covid pandemic from a logotherapeutic perspective, and connects logotherapy with a number of other psychotherapeutic theories.
