In [PR2, Chap. 2 ], we introduced a family of complete congruences on the lattice \(\mathcal {L}(\mathcal{C}\mathcal{R})\) and the lower and upper operators associated with those congruences. These are all powerful tools in the study of the structure of \(\mathcal {L}(\mathcal{C}\mathcal{R})\) . Although a great deal of information about these tools has been provided in [PR2] and earlier chapters, some obvious questions remain unanswered.

摘要

In [PR2, Chap. 2 ], we introduced a family of complete congruences on the lattice \(\mathcal {L}(\mathcal{C}\mathcal{R})\) and the lower and upper operators associated with those congruences. These are all powerful tools in the study of the structure of \(\mathcal {L}(\mathcal{C}\mathcal{R})\) . Although a great deal of information about these tools has been provided in [PR2] and earlier chapters, some obvious questions remain unanswered.
