摘要

In this chapter, we show that there is a logical transition from classical physics to quantum mechanicsQuantum mechanics. More specifically, the fundamental quantum relations, including the Planck’s relationPlanck’s relation, the de Broglie relationDe Broglie relation, and Heisenberg’s Uncertainty PrincipleHeisenberg’s uncertainty principle, can all be derived based on the classical Maxwell theoryMaxwell theory. From these derivations, one can identify the physical meaning of the Planck’s constantPlanck’s constant, which is shown to be dependent on the physical properties of the vacuumVacuum. Finally, we show that Heisenberg’s Uncertainty PrincipleHeisenberg’s uncertainty principle is a direct result of the fact that the quantum particleQuantum particle is a wave packetWave packet.
