Further Thoughts on Quantum Physics
摘要
In this chapter, we show that the quantum wave modelQuantum wave model has some interesting features that may be useful for the future studies of particleParticle physics. At present, there are still many important questions that the Standard Model today cannot fully explain. For example, what is the origin of the rest massRest mass and what is the physical meaning ofAnti-mass anti-mass? What is the origin of electric chargeOrigin of electric charge in a quantum particleQuantum particle? What is the origin ofAnti-particle anti-particle? What is the physical basis of pair-creation? We show that the quantum wave modelQuantum wave model can offer some useful hints to answer these questions. Finally, we suggest that, since a quantum particleQuantum particle is a quantized excitation wave of the vacuumExcitation wave of the vacuum medium, it is more appropriate to call it a “waveticleWaveticle” instead of a “particleParticle”.
